Hello Everyone,

I seriously need some help with the issue i am about to explain, I also hope you will understand how to solve this problem.

We moved all our students to office 365 while the staff still have the exchange email giles.lincs.sch.uk

The problem is the students can send to the staff but the staff cannot send emails back to the students. we don't get any error reports or bounced back emails nothing.

We have paid for Microsoft support but even they cannot find a issue. we did however change our internet services provider from Kcom to Virgin Media.

Of course we have contacted Virgin Media but even they don't know how to solve the problem.

May be a bit extreme but you could register a new domain name and setup a new Office 365 deployment with a .co.uk email address.

We did this a while back and it made the migration so much easier.

You can also get rid of the oldschool .sch.uk address.

When staff cannot e-mail students, does this only occur within school? Can they outside of school?

Are staff and students all using the same .sch.uk domain or two separate .sch.uk domains?

Tried adding the target address to the user object in Active Directory, I had issues originally.

We had our students in Exchange originally but didn't want to migrate them so just disabled the mailboxes after exporting to pst files in case anyone needed emails.
