[sims] NovaT6 - Opening wrong file directory

Hi,

 

I have a NovaT6 user that when ever he opens " Load new data set " it takes him to an old data set location, this means he needs to navigate to a different location every time he wants to load an up to date dataset, which when his loading up individual subject time tables, can be a bit of a nightmare!

 

Any Help?

I think this path is stored in the c:\windows\sims.ini file but i might be wrong.

That's correct, if it asks every time it's because he doesn't have full read/write access to C:/Windows for it to update the file location.

There is no sims.ini file on the users C drive, I'm not sure what connect file NovaT uses. I know there is a file that you can edit because a bloke from Capita done it for me. But iv been waiting 2 weeks for a response from Capita with me chasing them every few days.
