Dynadocks and Smart board issues.

We are using Toshiba Dynadocks around the classrooms so Teachers can walk in with laptops and with 1 usb connection the are set up to the projector and sound. Whilst there have been a few issues with drivers overall things have settled down acroos the school and the dynadocks are performing well.

 

However we have just installed dynadocks into Maths who use Smartboards. We are experiencing problems when the teacher walks in connects the laptop to the dynadock and logs on, sometimes there is no projector image, often whilst the smartboard seems to be connected the green led is flashing and things like notebook ink isn't working.

 

Has anyone else experienced issues ?

We use the dynadocks here, but with the old promethean range and on the whole like you say they generally work well.

 

Is the dynadock icon appearing in the system tray?

Are you saying it's only Maths that use the Smartboards?

Are you using the cd that came with the dynadock? There are newer driver versions on DisplayLink: Windows Software

Does it happen with any OS?
