I'll stick my neck out and make some predictions:-

 

We will still have networks; they will still require hardware, software and administration;

We will still have users; they will require access to the network, training and administration;

We will still have a multiplicity of devices with which those users want to access the network;

We will still have a requirement to recover lost data, backup will remain a necessity;

We will still have those who wish to access that that they shouldn't, AV and network admin will be necessary;

We will still have a multitude of ways of achieving the same thing, training and knowledge will remain key.

 

Whether trying to control iDevice access to a Win2012 network or working out how to get the data from a Psion Organiser onto the Winchester Disk, it's the same old same old.

 

Network Managers are not a threatened species :-)
