iPad basket like this but in plastic/metal

Just got some iPads and a few gocabbys given to me.

 

Brilliant bit of kit but the gocabby is really heavy.

 

Does anyone know of a good cheap place to get something that looks like the attached image but in plastic or metal?

I see you have the GoCabby's there, how are you finding them? We have recently got two, they seem quite robust apart from the pull handles.

Heavy!

Apart from the weight however first impressions are good. Only just received them however.

 

I think the foam baskets could be replaced with plastic/metal ones so if they do have to be transported upstairs then they can be removed from the heavy case. Hence the reason for this thread.

 

I can probably see what you mean about the pull handle, with the weight they could be made from a little thicker material.

 

Could also do with some cable management.

I used some sticky back cable mounts and a zip tie, four (one for each corner)

That gocabby looks like a home-made magazine rack.

 

Perhaps ask your D&T department if they can make a plastic one as a school project.

As long as they are smaller i can make it look right.

 

Found some old cable tidies and made it look neat and tidy.

Staff are coming in and jokingly saying that it would be able to go through the airport as it looks like something that needs to be diffused.

Never did anything with it, We had issues with people not returning ipads so weve put them all in my office and they just carry them individually.
