I am currently trying to perform a search on an email box on my exchange 2010 server. however I get Server in domain encountered an error reading an AD object or attribute.

 

I've had a read around and people have said that this is because in my Hub Transport, Accepted Domain, my domain is not Authoritative, it is currently set to Internal Relay.

 

I need my domain to be Internal Relay as it does relay to an email server in a different domain on our network. (It's an SBS server for a different department so we have two separate domains, no link with the forest) So main for this domain does get delivered to both servers. But I also need to be able to perform log searches.

 

Anyone encountered this before? Thanks
