Dragon Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Has anyone used this company recently? or whats the catch with the free printer deal? I know they are a pain and will constantly call but if they are giving away a printer and I just need to buy some of their compatible toners then what am I missing? Are their products bad?
sonofsanta Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 They're alright. They're about what you'd expect from the market. They've replaced toners & drums we've complained about without fuss, and they run alright in our Brother printers. Sometimes takes a bit of arguing with the account manager about the price when you can see an item on their website for cheaper than they're quoting you, but the products are ok. We have successfully argued for a "we'll call you, you don't call us" set up as well.
Disaster Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I've used them. They seem better than they used to be, I don't think you'll have any problems and their prices are reasonable.
Embroidery123 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 These people are fine as long as you don't have a problem with what you buy from them. Forget Sales of Good Act as they have never heard of it!! Bought a tablet from them, it has had very very gentle home use only still kept in original box when not in use. After 8 months it suddenly has a hardware fault. Contacted them to arrange repair or replacement - got told that the manufacturers (ASUS) didn't offer any warranty as it was "Grade A refurbished" - a fact which was news to me as I was under the impression that I was buying brand new!! They said that their warranty period was 3 months and would not offer any redress whatsoever. I don't really know why I trusted them as have had bad experiences with them in the past with cartridges and toners. Steer well clear is my advice!
