Badaz52 Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Hi all, I am trying to remove Realplayer 16.0 via batch file silently by applying it to a startup gpo. For some reason the batch file doesn't work when applied with group policy but once logged in if I run the batch file it works perfectly. I have checked the event logs on a computer that it has not worked on and there is nothing in there to tell me why it isn't working. All other GPOs are picking up just fine. I'm just wondering where I might have gone wrong or if anyone else has carried this out in a different way. My batch file is: "C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer\Update\r1puninst.exe" "RealNetworks|RealPlayer|16.0" -s As I said it works ok once logged in. Thanks
Badaz52 Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 is this running as a startup or logon script? Startup
