Anyone using this on integrated intel HD 4400 or 4600 graphics successfully?

We have 15 PCs with AMD Firepro V3800 cards in running it at the moment, but our DT department wants to put it into an IT suite. There appears to be very very mixed opinions on google as to whether this works, albeit a lot of comments are from people using it professionally, whereas i just need to know if it'll do the basics for education I.E Run stable and display stuff regardless of how good the displayed stuff looks :p I'm running the 2014 version if that matters...

I've run it, albeit very slowly, on old single core P4's with 2Gb ram and whatever the integrated graphics was. It did run, just. For light/simple education work any modern dual core, 4gb, integrated graphics setup should run it fine.

Yes, all our DT machines are core i5's with 4gb ram and they all run with integrated graphics very well indeed. Also have some lesser powered i3's with 4gb in another suite which also runs it very well. We've never run it with specific graphics cards. We're also running 2014 (worst time of year is when the new version comes out!). Had problems where if it detected the older version it ran like an absolute dog, had to do a full uninstall of everything and fresh install of 2014 for it to work properly.

i know this is a little of topic but did any of you have success in deploying out Solidworks 2014 across your network? If so how as i could'nt get any succes deploying it via SCCM and have resulted to deploying it locally on 60 odd workstations :(

Yeah, got it out on SCCM last year but had considerable difficulty this year doing exactly the same thing! Used the admin tool to create the master image, created application in sccm and that worked OK for any machines that didn't already have an older version on. Command line for deployment type in SCCM was startswinstall.exe /install /now

Thanks for the insight also did you have to install prerequisites separately? As I noticed if it didn’t have the correct prereqs it would just fail out instantly!
