I'm having difficulty getting the Mirror icon to display on iPad's when attempting to mirror with an Apple TV.

I looked at all the obvious, like make sure the Apple TV is on the network.

As the devices are under supervised with Configurator, I suspect it's configurator, however I need clarification before I go any further...

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Do you or anybody else have an iPhone or Mac they could join to the same network to see if that sees the Apple TV?

Coincidentally enough just tried that and discovered it works from my ibone.

I'm not sure what setting in Configurator requires changing, or whether I have to resort to using a micro USB cable to connect and configure in the Airplay settings.

We've got the same sort of problem. Configured three Apple TVs with Configurator on thursday. They are on the same wifi network as the iPad, and can get YouTube fine. But no AirPlay coming up on the iPad. The iPad isn't supervised (it's one we got early on for staff and hasn't been addded in Configurator). We also tried with an iPhone and no AirPlay on that either. AirPlay is switched on on the Apple TV. Have tried turning the iPad off and on again, it's up to date with iOS and have tried turning the iPad wifi off and on again (all as per the Apple support info on the web). Still nothing!!!! We have used Reflector with this iPad in the past, so AirPlay did work on it once!!!! What are we missing?
