[ipad] Jailbreak classroom iPads? Install iusers/slices.

Hi,

 

Just been told to order some ipads. The first thing i think of is pupil A will delete pupil B's work in apps like imovie.

 

Searching around ive come across iusers and slices.

 

These require jailbroken devices.

 

Would you jailbreak classroom ipads?

If it can't be done without jailbreaking, tell the people that asked you to order it. Explain to them the ramifications (such as voided warranties if its found out), and that you'd be uncomfortable supporting them in such a state (if that is the case).

Steer well clear of jailbreaking if you can, causes more trouble than its worth (and thats just on my own devices, let alone educational iPads)

 

We had Staff ask us if we could jailbreak and install a nasty Cydia flash browser so they could use MyMaths, I just told them no!
