Sims failing to load

Happy New Year to you all!

 

I've been having problems with some PCs that will not load Sims. The error message I get is: "Simsload.exe. The application failed to initialise properly (0xc0000135) click OKetc"

 

On most PCs there is no problems. I have reloaded both Sims and the OS etc but still same error. It looks to me like some kind of hardware cmpatibil

ity issue. Unfortunately we have "inherited" the support of Sims and given that Sims support from the LEA is next to useless, I wondered ifanybody had seen this error before. I'm not sure what Sims is trying to do when it loads so it makes it difficult to work out whats going on!

I googled that error code and it says it is a .net issue. and says reinstall the .net redistrubute

Thanks! Worked a treat. Seemiongly the .net frame work was not loading correctly.
