StewartKnight Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 I got an xbox because I wanted to play Halo 3, imagine my disappointment when I discovered that you need the hard drive to play with someone (ask ZeroHour!)! I am tempted to get Virtua Fighter 5 so that I can kick ass online. Does anyone know (TinyChip I'm looking at you!) if you need the hard drive for that too?
tallan Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 I think you may require a hard drive because of certain features (including ranking system) but i may not be 100% sure
EduTech Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 @ Stewart Knight For all online gaming you will need the Hard drive.. (20gig or 120gig) if you are thinking of going online i would reccommend that you purchase the Premium Console as the Core and arcade systems are really for people who aint going to go online:) 20 Gig Hard drive = £69.99 and u get 70 MS points thats from GAME 120 Gig Hard drive = £129.99 and u get 1300 MS points again from GAME (remember to kick ass online you need are hard drive.... to kick ass local then you don't) Hope that Helps Regards James
StewartKnight Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 I managed to get myself a h/d that day anyway! I went into Woolworths, and they had the 20gb for £40... Excellent, what a bargin I thought.... Got to the till, the woman said "wow, thats expensive", I said "are you kidding, they are normally £70", she said "it IS £70".. much embassement later (woolworths, not mine) and I have the h/d for £40...
