clarky2k3 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Hello, it is my first time using Ghost to image our comps, we used to have a CC3 network but now we are a vanilla windows network. I have never used ghost before and has anyone got a dummies guide?!?
mrbios Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 no dummies guide i know of but i can help you with any issues you have if you mention them, ive had so many issues with it there cant be many left i havent had to fix using WDS/RIS? and what version of solution suite are you using?
mrforgetful Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Are you using it installed on the computers or just Ghostcast Server? That's all we use!
djm968 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I would install RIS/WDS it is well worth the effort so you can PXE boot into ghost without boot disks
mrforgetful Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I agree with djm, definately get that set up and remove the slow tedious boot disks, almost makes ghosting a joy...
clarky2k3 Posted November 23, 2007 Author Posted November 23, 2007 I have installed WDS but i am a novice at it. How would I configure it to PXE boot? Thanks
