Wordpress : Latest News Module

Morning All,

 

Does anyone know of a cracking news widget/plugin for Wordpress - paid or otherwise that would fit in with our new website? I have one but it doesn't really look that nice. The site is: Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr

 

All it needs to do is display the latest posts. I'm not clued up enough to change the CSS to make it look nice - so need something off the shelf.

Is there a plugin that does the same as the 'Recent Threads' bar at the top of the edugeek pages?

All sorted. Found a great plugin php script that does it.

You can see the code in action here: Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr - I like it. It's not your normal plugin as it relied on calling in your template file. However they now have it callable via short code so it is a lot better.
