Papercut Question

Can anyone who uses papercut with Account Selection please test how long it takes for the account selection box to pop up when printing directly from IE11?

 

We have only just started using the account selection and we are finding that it takes 5 seconds for the box to appear if you print from IE11. If you print from another browser or from an Application its almost instant.

 

I want someone to confirm if this is an IE11 issue or whether its something on our network causing this.

Our clients are locally installed, takes about a 1-2 seconds via a wireless laptop.

 

5 seconds isn't that bad surely?

Pretty instant, 1/2 seconds.

Is your paper it server in your proxy bypass list? I've see delays like this due to that.

we don't have a proxy. seems specific to ie11 as chrome and firefox are instant

I presume you have tried the typical fixes for IE - reset the IE settings and browser back to it's default configuration, reset the zone and privacy settings, cleared temporary internet files and cache?

 

*Edit* don't forget add-ons in the browser! they can cause long delays!

 

Does compatibility mode help at all?

Latest version of papercut. Compatibility mode is on. Thankfully not many people print directly from websites. As someone pointed out 5 secs isn't that long!
