MDT WDS Windows 8 after deployment no keyboard or mouse

New problem with Dell OptiPlex 755 workstations after deployment No response from keyboard or mouse. I am using MDT 2013 with WDS I get through wizard fine and deployment seems to go well but no keyboard or mouse.

I am deploying windows 8 x64 using only 755 drivers cab. I have tried to use older drivers and rebuild litetouchx64.wim. I have also looked in setupact.log only error is... Input Install: Not a PS2 device..

Not sure what I am looking for in dism log.

Besides rebuilding a image not sure where to go from here.

 

I also deploy All IN One OptiPlex 9010 9020 and Latitude 5530 and 5540 with no issues. I am leaning towards it being a usb 2.0 driver issue but need help....

We had a similar issue with Win7 and Optiplex755 ...

 

Our first workaround was to unplug them and put it in a different USB port and after few minutes it worked -

After it had took the time to re detect the hardware.

 

The long term solution was to turn off checking windows updates for the drivers for the keyboard and mouse.

jszkudlapski Thank you for your response, I had tried that even with different mouse keyboard, front usb, rear usb, nothing not even the light for the optical mouse.

at first I thought it might be a usb 3.0 driver being used but I do not think this is the case. I did capture my image from a different model but sysprep should have removed

all drivers..
