Move Mailbox to Another User

Newbie exchange question:

 

Got a user who has got married so I've added an email address to her existing user account (i've not changed her user account name as yet).

 

I created a new user account for her new name but obviously it won't let me create the same email address for her.

 

Can I move the mailbox for the old account (diary and contacts) to the new account -- or is the best option just to rename user account in AD ?

I'd just rename the account in AD and add an alias so you have both old names and new names available as email addresses.
