Local profile or different profile for staff and students - Windows 7

Hi

 

We were using XP as the client for all the staff and students and we were using local user profile.Now we have moved to Windows 7 and i have not made decesion to go for a different type of user profile.

Please guys give me some sugessions regards to the user profile, i dont know what type of profile will be useful for students and staff.

I was wondering how you guys are doing your profiles? will this be a roaming profile, trying to maximise the performance of all workstations, laptops and windows tablets.

Please post me some tutorials.
