Had a powercut over the weekend and now the shared drives from the NAS boxes are not working properly

net use p: /delete /y
net use p: \\netgear\xxxx

in the past this has just worked

the delete path was to get rid of the path when we changed nas boxes.

it is now asking for a username and password is there an easy way to add the username to the script. This is the username for the nas box not the user's username.

Cheers

Sounds like your NAS has lost touch with the domain so isn't able to authenticate the user.

Forget the script for a little while and try and map the drive yourself and see if it also prompts for the credentials.

Could need a reboot of the NAS to sort the authentication out.

Make sure you can access the NAS, Check to see if the DNS name is registered and the device is ping-able by it's DNS name.
