petben Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I've removed sites and newsfeeds links so they don't appear when students login to 365 but how can I remove the office stuff, word online, excel online etc? 365 is going to be used just for outlook in the first instance so how can I get it to log straight to the outlook part if 365? this is adfs, dir sync etc from our 2012 network. thanks
ellsandell Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 If you just want the Email and nothing else just want to remove the other parts of the license and just leave "Exchange Online".
petben Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 thanks. how about going straight to outlook at login? If you just want the Email and nothing else just want to remove the other parts of the license and just leave "Exchange Online".
fairm010 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I believe after several attempts to go to outlook you get the option to always go to outlook.
petben Posted October 15, 2014 Author Posted October 15, 2014 ellsandell where is that license setting in the office365 admin pages? Thanks
ellsandell Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 That's in the users section in the O365 admit panel with one user selected. You might be better using a powers hell script however if you have to change a lot of users - plenty of examples on here. 1
jamesbmarshall Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Or just tell users to go to http://mail.office365.com?
