Exchange Single Sign on Disabling

Hi techies!! Help needed!

 

Relatively new to the school - running a very old 2003 exchange system which single signs on the user to their emails into Outlook 2007.

 

We're currently in process of going to a new system with a new domain - Office 365 and Outlook 2013.

 

having major problems, having to delete the profile before it will let them open Outlook 2013. After then it still wants to connect to the old email because of the single sign on facility i think.

 

 

Does anyone have any suggestions or help as to how i can stop/disable this?

Have you checked to see if its a GPO pushing down the settings?

Yeah - the only GPO policies in place are pushing out the printers. Unless its hidden somewhere theres nothing obvious I can see..

 

Any other suggestions?

Is the 2k3 server decommissioned? i know it links with AD, they removed that from the newer versions

It might be that 2k3 is still interacting with AD and pulling down the info.

No the server 2003 is still running AD - it has partially been migrated to another 2008r2 server.

 

Would you completey migrate AD and decommission the exchange server?

Sorry just re-read your post.

 

Are you upgrading to a 2008 domain? or is that what you are currently on? The new domain comment made me assume you were upgrading to server 2012.

 

If its just exchange that is migrating from 2003 to office 365 i would retire the exchange 2003 services once you are done with the migration if all mail is going to 365, you could stop the services to test it.
