GRitchie Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Hello, We are having issues with network drives on our Macs. It seems the AD user account home folder will mount however it will not appear in Finder without enabling it in preferences on every single account. Anyone have the same problem and find a fix? Cheers!
Mark182 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Do you use profile manager? If so, under Finder>Commands and untick "conenct to server" box.

Mark182 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Oh I've just clicked, we have it set up a little different here. I have shared drives mapped on the desktop and the Home drive is in the dock next too teh trash icon.

If possible, please could you help with screenshots! Cheers!
furby Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) Perhaps this thread will help http://www.edugeek.net/forums/mac/141311-ad-od-user-folder-default-save.html Was just missing the screenshot of Directory Utility. You can do that via profile manager as well depending on which version of OS X (server) you have. This comes up so often I should make a longer post with screenshots etc. So if you need more info just say and I'll actually do it will all the screenshots and what not.
