olapete2008 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Hi all, I have just joined to see if I can get assistance and assist people if possible I am a I.T Technician and have lots of projects im involved in my current one is trying to get 20 Chromebooks registered via our work wfi and configuring lightspeed on them which im a nube at any advice on getting lightspeed configured woulf be much appreciated.

I think the Lightspeed agent is Windows only, although I could be wrong. Your best bet is probably going to be to assign the Chromebooks' network card MAC adresses to a fixed IP reservation in DHCP, then set that set of fixed IPs to a filtering level in Lightspeed.

We use Lightspeed provided in our college. I believe the agent only works for windows 32 or 64 bits systems and if you are using Active directory user filtering. However u can also assign IP range or use a local proxy server for Chrombook and then assign allow or block list for that
