MS or Google accounts for Y7 - 8 pupils?

We are planning to start using TouchDevelop in Computer Science lessons after half term. DOes anyone know of any issues with pupils having to create a Google or Microsoft account to register with the site? I know some pupils in Y7 and Y8 have accounts already so can use them, but all pupils will need an account to save their work. Has anyone any experience of this?

I know our students create google accounts to use with app inventor and we've never had a problem here. I think either will be fine
