Staff Laptop agreements

Im looking at updating our staff laptop agreements as they havent been touched for about 4 years and was wondering if anyone could share whats on their staff laptop policies.

 

We have the obvious like

- Laptop remains property of the school

- Registered keeper is responsible for the equipment and must return when employment ends etc.

- a statement about insurance

- Only licensed software by the school to be installed on the laptops

- AV is installed, must be updated frequently

- Staff are only allowed to use IT equipment at home for official school purposes - it is not used for personal use.

Maybe something saying its the individual's responsibility to look after it. Make sure its stored in a secure location etc. Maybe that only the individual is permitted to use it and damage must be reported ASAP?

After looking round the site ive found a policy from 2008 which is a bit more detailed than mine along with a wiki too.

That one sounds about right at times... Staff don't like it when you go you signed X, you broke it that will be £x please, SLT often roll over
