I currently have a blog as part of my MySpace but would like to set up an alternative as I'm thinking of phasing out my Myspace account as I'm getting bored of it. Anyone got any suggestions? I've had a look at Live Journal so far but would the best version there is a the paid one and I'd rather not pay if I didn't have to.

I use a wordpress install on my web hosting or you can set up an account with them.

Wordpress or Livejournal - I'd judge it by how many friends you have on each... I prefer LJ because I can keep track of friends blogs on there...

I use Blogger for all my personal blogs and have my domain redirect to them... just so they look like my own

I'm with Paul... I use Blogger although my blogging days are numbered.. Works fine for what I need and there's no backend or security admin to worry about.
