Chrisbf1 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Our school has just got Solar panels and they have a module that you can logon that tells you how much power it is producing. The problem is the school is on a proxy server. If you turn off the proxy you can access the ip address of the box. This is on the school ip range. why would turning the proxy off allow me to access the box, and how can I get round this. The company where not very helpful
Domino Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Is the proxy set on the machine? If so you want to go to the proxy settings in IE, tick 'do not use proxy for local addresses' - then in advanced add the IP/dns name to the exceptions field.
Chrisbf1 Posted September 17, 2014 Author Posted September 17, 2014 by the machine, do you mean the sunny box or the laptop/pc
