abillybob Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Hey Guys, Bit of a strange one, a child has come up to me with issues with her account, she hasn't been able to login since the summer holidays (forgot her password) I have tried resetting her password although AD tells me that she must log off before changes will take effect. Issue is she doesn't know where she's logged in and I can't see either. Anyway easy way to sort this at all? Thanks Alex
witch Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Quicker to create her a new user and move her documents, isn't it? Can't you see who is logged on in task manager? Might not tell you where but might tell you if she is actually logged on anywhere. Can you take ownership in some way?
Tesla Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 unless she's been logged on on a single pc since before the summer, i doubt she'd actually be logged on anywhere?? :S
Joanne Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Server manager > Roles > File Services > Share and Storage Manager (Click on) then down the right hand side manage sessions. You should be able to find her there if she is logged on and end the session. 1
SovietRussia Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 restart every pc in the school! hehe
