Vericool sanity check needed please

Scenario:

 

Vericool server (cashless database & Biostore database)

SIMS as the MIS

Payment processing handled by ParentPay

Biometric Auth via Biostore

3 vending machines (all biometric)

3 EPOS

Scheduled reboot of the Vericool server at 21:00 after installing Microsoft patches

No scheduled tasks for Vericool, GroupCall, Biostore or ParentPay at the time of the reboot

 

 

Problem:

 

Twice now, biometric authentication and the EPOS work fine post-reboot, but amounts added to ParentPay balances after the reboot don't appear on Vericool and vending machines can't lookup balances (for everyone, not just newly added cash).

 

This has happened twice now - once in August and now again in September each time after the scheduled reboot for the monthly patch cycle.

 

 

Is anyone else using Vericool and seeing this problem or can you happily reboot without issues? I'm leaning towards something like a service needing to be set to delayed start, but waiting on a response from vendors.
