Anyone had any problems with Hp 1320 Printers recently?

I only ask because I remember the stupid driver update a few months back that caused all 1300's to print everything on one page

A few computers connected to 1320's, only that printer, have started saying, after months/years of working fine, that driver files are missing.

Its a mixture of network printers added with scripts, 'local' network printers and USB ones. Reinstalling the driver from the original network location works fine.

So not a massive problem, but annoying, and we have about 30 1320's so I hope it doesnt start happening more

Anyone else noticed anything?

Cant say we've had that problem here (yet) but we have an issue with using the PCL 6 drivers so as long as we use the PCL 5e ones we are ok so far.

Nope - got serveral of these and they've never played up. Mind you - I've never updated the drivers - if it aint broke don't try and fix it! :)

Thats the thing, we havent! The 1300 problems were an update that came with Windows update and we havent updated the 1320 ones at all either

Looks like its just a few coincidences then, thanks guys

We've been having all sorts of strange printing issues recently, connections being lost, pages coming out strange (had a 2420 that would only print anything that was in bold, everything else didn't print!)

HP 1320 printers only work on the PCL5e driver for us as well, we've only got 3 of them thou, and they are generally very reliable, unlike their older 1300 counterparts which are getting on a bit now!

I've got a collection of 1100, 1200, 1300 and 1320 which all work reliably here.
