Hey Guys

Need a Colour photocopier to replace our old colour printer. We need it to be no more than around £3,000 the cheaper the better, but it still has to work with PaperCut and all that jazz.

We would buy it outright and get a Service Contract out with your company which is essential for general maintenance, blah blah.

If you have any quotes please send them my way!!! I quite like the Sharp photocopiers so any help would be most appreciated :)

Cheers!

Try speaking directly to Ricoh, they do a government contract which is really cost effective. You basically buy the copier and pay a cost per page which includes all consumables and spare parts plus a 4hr response service. It works out miles cheaper than any others we've looked at over the life of the copier and the copiers are very good.

you can get decent leases with the government frameworks also, ours here are leased and its very cost effective, the maintenance is necessary definitely, given that konica provide a 4hr response for them going down for us, though be weary, some schools signed unfavourable leases a good while back and it made the news and caused real financial difficulties for the schools involved.
