[ms office - 2010] Spell Check Problems

Hi, I'm having some difficulties with spell checker in Microsoft office.

 

I've recently imaged a classroom and installed Office 2010 and none have the spell check feature?

It works when you press F7 (or whatever the key is) however it's not inline spell checking as and when you type?

 

Anyone else had this issue or got a solution?

Have you deployed Office without Proofing Tools selected as an option (when you build your customised deployable image, they're not selected by default IME!)? If so, you'll need to either go around and modify the Office install on each machine, or you can deploy the Proofing Tools separately (it's available as a download from MS).

We use MDT to deploy our software, could you give me a hand as to where it could be on this configuration? Thanks!!

I don't use MDT - I deployed the PTs using Group Policy so can't help much there.

Make sure that this is your issue first - go to an affected machine, go to Programs and Features, Modify the Ofice 2010 install and see if the Proofing Tools are there.
