double bookings

I think i might have mentioned this a while back but without actually knowing what caused it.... but it seems it's whenever our trigger happy staff click twice if the page takes too long to do anything (or double click because they're old and don't understand how buttons work) they can sometimes add the same booking into the bookings.xml twice which then pushes the other bookings aside...often leading to all sorts of aggro when someone thinks they've booked a room and two classes turn up. (Such as two bookings for period 4, which pushes on into P5 and P5 then slots into P6, and P6 can no longer be seen.....the only way to know this is to click to remove it and it'll say the wrong period such as "remove P5" under the P6 column)

 

Is there a way of adding in a delay between bookings being allowed (even if just a matter of seconds), or a placeholder loading image that appears (like a spinning circle) in place of the button so that thre's no longer a button that can be pressed?

 

Throwing out ideas really, but it's the only major issue ive ever had to contend with with HAP...often when this happens it results in SLT complaining too

What version of HAP are you running? (as I thought i'd taken a stab at fixing this before)

10.2 with the latest versions of helpdesk and booking system.

 

I remember nick mentioning a fix was in the works, but i dont think i ever actually heard what that fix was....i'll try and find the thread
