Has anyone managed to get the Impero alerts working through the Google Apps (Gmail) smtp servers at all?

 

Having a nightmare getting it working and google isn't coming up with much!

What version are you using as if early version as doesn't support ssl email servers. Later versions do..

Morning all

 

Been hiding away for a bit what with one thing and another, but now have cause to come out of the woodwork again.

 

I know this is resurrecting an age old thread, but we're having difficulties getting Impero to accept the gmail smtp settings. Can anyone shed any light? I'm using the settings provided by Google and running V5.4.20 of Impero (it's a new first time install).
