deploystudio multicasting problem

Greetings,

 

I am trying to use multicast to deploy an image via deploystudio. Whenever i start the deployment it creates the system partition fine but as soon as the main image comes down i get nothing but "XDBGfailed request for ..." errors filling up the screen and it fails. I get this whether im using my network or an unmanaged switch. Ive turned down the multicast speed but no joy.

 

Anyone else experienced this before?

If you're trying this on 10.8 Mountain Lion then asr multicast is broken. Apple did not fix this till Mavericks. The best it reliably worked on was 10.7.

Oops, forgot to say what version i was using. Im using mavericks. Am i right in saying ghostcasting uses multicast because that works no problem

I'm having the same issue trying to multicast a Yosemite image using DeployStudio. The image is only 7.1GB. Works fine on unicast but multicast drops at the same point as jjohnsoncantell
