Pluto was good enough to be a planet when I went to school. lol

That was before we realised that it's basically just an oversized asteroid and that there were several similar examples in the solar system. Most of the big asteroids between mars & Jupiter were considered planets until the turn of the 1900s when they were reclassified asteroids.

 

Also did you know that seven moons in our solar system (including our very own) are more massive than either Pluto or Eris?
