Replacing broken classroom Speakers

I have a few sets of broken speakers and amps in a few of my classrooms,

Hercules XPS 2.100 Silver Speakers - PC Games - PC (Accessories)

 

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for replacements?

 

I am looking for a similar set up to the previous speakers.

Are they mounted on the wall? What sort of budget you looking at?

These work well:

 

ACTIVE30-WH - PULSE - SPEAKERS, 5" 30W ACTIVE WHITE | CPC

 

There is also a passive version if you have a working amp but blown speakers.

 

SPK40-WH - PULSE - SPEAKERS, 4" 25W ABS WHITE, PAIR | CPC

 

There is no subwoofer with either of them, so they will sound different. Don't know how much of an issue that is for you. You will probably need right-angle phono connectors/adaptors for the signal cable for the active ones. There isn't much space behind them when wall mounted.

 

 

We also use these wall mounted amps when an amp blows and we don't want to rewire the whole classroom:

We use the following which are great. Come with wall mount clips and an inline remote. We used to use 2.1 speakers systems in our classrooms but find these work and look much better.

Was just about to post re. speakers. We have the Sahara type here, but I was unable to tell what they were short of removing them from the wall. Seem to be cheapest at Dabs.
