Public DNS IP, DirectAccess and Static IP

Thanks guys! DirectAccess is my answer and I've found out how to do it but I've got an issue with not being able to connect to my DNS with my private IP 192.168.0.100 which is completely understandable as that's only a private IP. Can anyone help me on how to access my DNS from a public IP. Also is it advised that I have Static IP's for my Network Connection when I have DirectAccess or should I only have Static Ip's for directaccess as I can't connect to routers with different subnets with a static IP.

Sorry not quite getting what you trying to say here.

 

For Directaccess you need a public ip address and you need to make your directaccess server available at that ip address therefore you need to have your network setup for external firewalls to allow access to the DA server.

You'll need a public IP and some form of NAT from the public IP to the private IP.
