Anyone starting using Yammer with office 365?

How's it going and any big pit falls.

I am thinking about deploying it so any advice would be great, we are a secondary school by the way

We have Sharepoint A2

Our students' user names are [email protected] but as they are primary school students I have not enabled their Exchange licence so emails sent there don't get received.

This wasn't a problem in Sharepoint because when I bulk create users I get an on-screen notification of password

I can't add these users to Yammer without email authentication?

I don't know if that's of any help to you!

We're using Yammer across our internal Sharepoint build, it's a nifty addition. The facebook-esque format has increased the adoption/interaction on the topics that we discuss.

It's been worthwhile including it.

You can enable it for testing. Leave the links switched off for all the users in the sharepoint server settings page and just access it via the url. if you decided not to deploy it just don't tell anyone that it exists.

There is a sharepoint app so that you can link it into a sharepoint site, If you like we would be happy to walk you through it

Is there any cat pictures on there yet?

Ha ha ha not yet...as a stern anti-lol embassador that's killed most cat pics.

Quite a few NSFW though, although we're at work...go figure!
