laserblazer Posted July 18, 2014 Author Posted July 18, 2014 I think it might be South African. It was sent to me by a teacher in Nelspruit. Although the wording is American.
Miscbrah Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Considering it's American, yes it's a joke. Why did someone in America think it was funny to write that? What do they care about bloody the British education minister? I mean I don't give a *sensored - dat language* about who's in the US senate. You don't open The Sun and read "Rep. Blake Farenthold lol he so fat he downloads cheat codes for wii fit."
sonofsanta Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 I think it's something that's been going round a while and @laserblazer simply took advantage of current affairs to reintroduce it in a humourous fashion. Because if anyone was going to bring back a century old set of rules, Gove would have done it already. That guy lived for a rose tinted vision of what education had been like, modern world be damned. Who decides how bright is bright? Does that include white linen as well? 1

Oaktech Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 I'm all for the 'you will not marry during the term of your contract" The grief that gets caused by name changes is ridiculous. User: "I want x person and I can't find them" IT: "They've got married, you need to look them up in the global address list and update your personal address book" User: "Oh, can't you do that for me..." IT: Facepalm. 1
