Precedence Technologies Limited (PTL)

is looking to employ a number of IT Technicians to expand our managed services provision.

This may include full-time placement at a single school or work across multiple schools on a day-to-day basis.

Candidates will be responsible for first-line support for all users; dealing with all IT-related issues, maintaining

the IT (and AV) infrastructure and working with PTL and the schools to ensure the schools' IT systems are

always functioning as required. Second-line support will be provided by existing Precedence senior staff on-site

as well as in our offices.

It is expected that a successful candidate will have a good understanding of Windows and networking technologies, but

a willingness to learn, a polite and positive attitude, and good people skills are just as important. A good command of written

and verbal English is essential as is the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

The role offers excellent opportunities for career progression as the successful candidates will be mentored by

our highly-knowledgeable and experienced team as well as being offered product-specific training.

A technician is required immediately to work full-time at Linton Village College (LVC).

Precedence will be installing new IT infrastructure into the school over the summer holidays and it is

hoped that the candidate could join the company in time to help with the installation and therefore

gain knowledge of the system from day 1.

Linton Village College is 10 miles to the South-East of Cambridge and the successful candidate would

be expected to provide their own transport. Support and assistance can be given in obtaining a driving

licence if necessary.

More information on the Linton Village College job can be found on our website.
