Getting IP from switch over network

hey ppl, probably a dumb question but I just took on a new position and the tech before me didn't leave any docs. so no passwords/IP's for the Cisco switches we have here. Is there a tool that can pull that info, atleast the IP addy's so I can telnet instead of actually doing some work and going to the closets and console in?

I would get that tech's number and see if I could get a bit of information from him/her.

Don't think I haven't thought of that already..lol but unfortunately that's not possible.

I know from experience it is not always possible to contact a previous tech for reasons that are particular to each school.

for some reason after I put in the scope and ran the scan nothing showed up on the right pane...????? what am I missing or is that just the outcome for the demo ver?
