Only 3 months ago I was still using a 6310i and about a year ago - yeah laugh all you want - I was still using a nk702.....

 

On the bright side, at least I don't have to carry my phone in a wheel barrow like i did in my last job.....

I've had a Sony Ericsson T610 for 3 years! The only reason I've bought a new one is because the stick kept getting stuck all the time and navigating menus/txting was becoming a nightmare.

I had to laugh at the news with those pratts waiting outside the shop to get one today - then Apple got all shirty when ITN started asking about iTunes instead !! Then they refused to let some of the press film in the shop.

Just about says it all for Apple and the moron who runs the outfit.

I have a theory that if Jobs walked off a cliff, the majority of the 'Apple followers' would do likewise. [ But only if the cliff had an Apple logo on ]

Nope ... not getting an iPhone yet, waiting for the next one, mainly because I have a Blackberry Pearl under contract for a bit yet.

 

I played with the iPhone earlier in the year (around Jan actually) and I was seriously impressed ... I have yet to find a phone that impressed me that much on first use since I picked up my P800 (and I *still* don't think it is worth upgrading to the 990).

 

I have a terrible aversion to Nokia ever since I spent 4 years battling with crap software on 4 different phones with crap support and crap facilities. Yes, I know they have improved And the N95 is the pick of the bunch at the moment.

 

The iPhone (once certain things are sorted) will fit into my life pretty well ... but I am happy to wait for the next version.

 

As for Apple bashing ... *yawn* ... I think there may have been a few slightly humourous jokes in there somewhere above ... at least there was some constructive criticism as well as the usual *apple are crap and so are all their products* stuff.
