So, we have a shared drive, with the root and its folders allowing standard domain users only Read & Execute, List Folder Content, and Read. Tried and tested to ensure users can't create a folder or move one of them into another one...except that, on at least 2 occasions, it's happened.

 

One user saw herself accidentally drag a root folder and she let go in a panic, dropping it into another root folder...she then tried to move it back and the permissions warning kicked in...we moved it back and then tried to replicate as a standard user with no joy, and when we asked the same user to try to replicate, the permissions did their job.

 

Any thoughts?
