I know I am out of practice with some of the more hands on side of things with admin on windows boxes but I am now stumped.

My NM is off ill and we have one of our TS boxes that just refuses to set the default language setting to English UK. We have a separate issue with TS profiles at the moment so we can't set a mandatory profile for staff (it was working until then) and previously I have done a reg hack to fix it (on a different box).

Can I remember how I did it? Can I heck!

Due to staff illness we are on a skeleton staff at the moment otherwise I would be happy to spend time researching the solution again (and writing it down this time!) ... but any help or pointers appreciated.

Don't say "I told you so", please.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout

3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry information:

Value name: IgnoreRemoteKeyboardLayout

Data type: REG_DWORD

Value data: 1
