Trapper Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 School proms 2014 - photos in the Birmingham Mail - Birmingham Mail This has to be a mine field, especially if the kids are under age, they show people who may not want their photo published, and the event took place on a school site!
Ketlane Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Well.....the local papers have been publishing pictures like these for years. The new classes at the primary schools, the primary school leavers group photos, nativity plays, the lot. I am a lot less worried about this than many things.
plexer Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 ??? not quite sure I understand why you think it's a problem? Ben
witch Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) All local papers do it Edited July 6, 2014 by witch
Sylv3r Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I agree, the majority of such photos will be made available via student public Facebook pages / school websites etc. It's just a different medium for them - if people want to go looking for them they will.
plexer Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Exactly it's not publicizing names and addresses etc... and additionally if students are recorded as do not publish photos then they won't be given to the paper. Ben
