Jwzg Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 We currently filter our student devices both on and off campus and require students to use their LDAP credentials to be assigned the correct filter set. Of course, when students move from class to class, they often change IP addresses and are required to re-authenticate. Are there any drawbacks or land mines associated with using the radius server on the Lightspeed appliance?
Sibrows Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Can you not move the RADIUS authentication off of your Lightspeed appliance onto your Wireless solution and pass the results back to Lightspeed. Thus avoiding the need to re-authenticate?
