We are a secondary school and I can download any version that I want from the portal and later I can ask my reseller the pricings for the version that I go for. So I need know the right version to download and install.

How do SLG and InTouch affect that choice?

We'll end up with both plus room bookings and our VLE linking into the system eventually. These all make database calls so should have an impact. I know InTouch can be especially resource intensive.

Not sure about InTouch beyond it needs more RAM on the clients. Personally I prefer SchoolComms which isn't as hungry.

SLG, self-hosted, you need a separate server \ SQL server.
