Windows 8 blue screening when on internet explorer.

Hi,

 

I have a windows image on different stone Laptops and Machine models and for some reason over the last few weeks when on the internet it blue screens and restarts the machine. I have updated the chipset driver which a stone engineer advised me to do also flashed a bios but still doing it.

 

Any ideas?

Has Windows 8 installed updates since it was imaged as new? If you re-image it again, do the problems go away until it's re-updated?

Hi Michael, Yes I think so. I reimaged one then a week later it happened again.

I'd investigate what updates are being applied, then block them being installed via WSUS.
